A brightly coloured dish featuring tender chicken and crunchy bell peppers with wok-tossed noodles in a coconutty peanut sauce. Red chilli, coriander and a squeeze of lime juice bring it all to life and put the “bang” into the dish! We've kept it to a zingy but enjoyable heat level for all. Feel free to add some extra chopped chillies on top for aesthetics and more spiciness, if desired!

Our 20 minute recipe

  • 1.

Heat a little oil in a wide frying pan and fry the chicken for 2 mins. Stir in the Bang Bang Paste, then add the peppers and fry for 2 more mins. Mix in the coconut milk and bring it to a gentle boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer.

  • 2.

Add the Garlic & Coconut Paste and peanut butter and mix well. Add the spring onions (if using) and cook for 2 mins, or until the chicken is done, then turn off the heat.

  • 3.

Boil the noodles as per pack instructions. Collect a 2 tbsp of water from the noodle pan with a mug, then drain and rinse them under cold water. Stir the Chilli Garnish into the chicken pan, then add the noodles and 1-2 tbsps of your reserved noodle water and toss them to coat them in the sauce. (Tongs are helpful here.)

  • 4.

Serve the noodles with squeeze of a lime and some sesame seeds sprinkled over (if using).

macaulay - Nov 03, 2018

Gillian - Oct 28, 2018

Amazing!!!

Claire - Oct 27, 2018

Nicest meal I have cooked (IMO) children all eat it. Yum defo have again super tasty.

Maggie - Oct 27, 2018

Used sunflower seeds instead of sesame seeds

Rick - Oct 25, 2018

Would be better if noodles were separate to the Chicken.

Julie - Oct 24, 2018

Lovely punchy flavours :) I used rice noodles instead & there was so much of it, enough for 3 people ;) the lime adds a nice kick of citrus

Karen - Oct 23, 2018

Tasty, will cook again. Only put one spoonful of peanut butter in.

- Oct 20, 2018

Made it with quorn. Lovely

Alyson - Oct 20, 2018

Nice enough but nothing out of the ordinary. I think I would add extra coconut milk to make it less thick and sticky (due to peanut butter?) and some chopped peanuts for added texture.

Laura - Oct 20, 2018

It’s had a nice flavour to it but unfortunately I didn’t like the texture of it. The peanut butter made it all claggy

Rachel - Oct 16, 2018

Very nice, substituted one of the peppers with baby corns!

Carla - Oct 16, 2018

Too sweet, not to usual standard

Izabela - Oct 16, 2018

Superb

Jenny - Oct 09, 2018

Delicious and easy

Susan - Oct 08, 2018

Lovely dish.

Sharon - Oct 06, 2018

Needs a whole can of coconut milk to cut through the peanut butter and also needs the lime

Sharon - Oct 06, 2018

Second time cooked, I added a whole can of coconut milk as it was too thick and claggy last time with the peanut butter ratio to liquid. Definitely needs the lime to cut through the peanut

Amy - Oct 05, 2018

Loved this!

Daniela - Oct 05, 2018

Husband loved this

Laura - Oct 04, 2018

Chris - Oct 03, 2018
