Our aromatic masala lamb chops with spiced potatoes offer a great way of enjoying classic Indian flavours with a twist. Whether you griddle the chops on the hob or grill them on the bbq, the lightly charred chops are great when dipped into the minty yoghurt raita. Crispy potatoes seasoned with a cumin and paprika based blend put an Indian twist on oven-baked wedges. Marinade the lamb for as long as you like on this one and you’ll be rewarded!

Cook our delicious Masala Lamb Chops in just Minutes

We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic Masala Lamb Chops. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Masala Paste pot, a Spice Blend pot and a Mint Chutney pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Masala Lamb Chops in just 20 minutes.

How Our Recipes Kits Work

We provide flavour ingredients:

  • Masala Paste
  • Spice Blend
  • Mint Chutney

Your shopping list:

lamb chops
small new potatoes
small red onion
Greek yoghurt
salad leaves(optional)
of coriander(optional)

Our 20 minute recipe

  • 1.

Heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Marinate the lamb chops with the Masala Paste and set aside. Bring a pan of salted water to boil and par-boil the potatoes for 3-4 mins. Drain and let them air-dry in the colander for 1 min.

  • 2.

Put the potatoes onto a lined baking tray and sprinkle the Spice Blend over them as evenly as you can with a pinch of salt. Drizzle 2 tbsps of oil onto them and toss to coat. Bake for 20-25 mins, or until golden. Now continue with step 3.

  • 3.

Toss the red onion and tomato slices with salad leaves, if you have some, and arrange on plates. Swirl the Mint Chutney through the yoghurt in a small bowl.

  • 4.

Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and fry the lamb chops for 3 mins on each side for medium rare. (You shouldn’t need oil but feel free to add some if it’s getting dry). Stand them up and fry them fat-side-down for 1-2 mins, then remove from heat to rest them.

  • 5.

Serve the lamb chops with some potatoes, salad and a spoonful of mint yoghurt on the side. Squeeze a lemon wedge or 2 over your lamb and salad and sprinkle over some chopped coriander leaves if you have them.

Lamb chops were delicious and we used a bit of the spice mix for the potatoes with some rice instead as wanted a potato free meal, definitely ordering again!

Was lovely and full of flavour!

Louise - Oct 08, 2018

Very tasty. Plenty of marinade for 4 portions. I would order again. And I would reduce the amount of yoghurt by half. There was too much yoghurt

Really enjoyed this! Tasty

Danica - Oct 04, 2018

Really delicious, my partner and his Mom loved it. I used Lamb Steaks rather than Chops just because the chops in the shop were a bit too small, and the steaks worked just as well. Added to oven for 5-10 minutes to cook through better as they were thick. I will order again when back in stock.

Wonderful - everything was perfect! Used unsweetened geek yoghurt and that gave a great contrast to the rest.
