Cook our delicious Thai Basil Pork in just Minutes

We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic Thai Basil Pork. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Chilli Garlic Paste pot, a Thai Seasoning pot and a Pad Kra Prao Sauce pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Thai Basil Pork in just 20 minutes.

How Our Recipes Kits Work

We provide flavour ingredients:

  • Chilli Garlic Paste
  • Thai Seasoning
  • Pad Kra Prao Sauce

Your shopping list:

pack microwave rice
pork mince
peppers (1 red, 1 yellow)
basil (30g)

Our 20 minute recipe

  • 1.

Heat a little oil in a wok over medium-high heat and then fry the Chilli Garlic Paste for 10 secs. Add the pork, breaking up the mince and stir frying until the mince has browned (around 5 mins).

  • 2.

Add the peppers, the Thai Seasoning and 1-2 tsps of sugar and stir fry for 3 more mins. Add the Pad Kra Prao Sauce and 100ml water to make a light broth. Stir well and reduce the heat to low and let it cook for a few more mins. Taste it, and if you’d like it sweeter, add 1 more tsp of sugar. Heat the rice according to packet instructions.

  • 3.

Turn off the heat and add the basil to the wok and stir it in so that it wilts.

  • 4.

Serve the rice with the Thai basil pork on the side. Season to taste with a lime wedge or a little more sugar if you prefer it sweeter.

Was ok, nothing special. Maybe because I don’t eat beef and didn’t realise one of the pots was beef

Leah - Nov 09, 2018

Really enjoyed, only used half the amount of basil advised as tends to overpower some dishes. Another great meal.

Wasn't overly struck on this one, perhaps because it was pork mince. Might prefer it if I made it with beef mince.

Lovely flavours. Quite hot, even though I had left some of the garlic chilli pot out. It is a favourite box and will order again. Yummy!
