We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Chilli Garlic Paste pot, a Thai Seasoning pot and a Pad Kra Prao Sauce pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Thai Basil Pork in just 20 minutes.

Our 20 minute recipe

  • 1.

    Heat a little oil in a wok over medium-high heat and then fry the Chilli Garlic Paste for 10 secs. Add the pork, breaking up the mince and stir frying until the mince has browned (around 5 mins).

  • 2.

    Add the peppers, the Thai Seasoning and 1-2 tsps of sugar and stir fry for 3 more mins. Add the Pad Kra Prao Sauce and 100ml water to make a light broth. Stir well and reduce the heat to low and let it cook for a few more mins. Taste it, and if you’d like it sweeter, add 1 more tsp of sugar. Heat the rice according to packet instructions.

  • 3.

    Turn off the heat and add the basil to the wok and stir it in so that it wilts.

  • 4.

    Serve the rice with the Thai basil pork on the side. Season to taste with a lime wedge or a little more sugar if you prefer it sweeter.
