Cook our delicious Balinese Curry in just Minutes

We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic Balinese Curry. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Balinese Paste pot, a Balinese Garnish  pot and a Garlic Coconut Paste pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Balinese Curry in just 20 minutes.

Your shopping list for 2 servings:

  • 400ml light coconut milk
  • 40g cashew nuts (optional)
  • 1 small onion
  • 120g Basmati rice
  • 200g baby corn
  • 100g green beans

Our 20 minute recipe

  1. Boil the potatoes (optional)

    If you’re having potatoes in the curry, boil them in a pan of water until tender, then drain and keep aside. Meanwhile, start the curry.

  2. Start the curry base 

    Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a saucepan over medium heat and add the onion. Fry gently for 2-3 mins. 

    Turn the heat up, then add the GARLIC COCONUT PASTE and stir quickly through.

  3. Add the Balinese flavours 

    Add the BALINESE PASTE to the pan and stir well and then add 1 tbsp of the thick part of the coconut milk.
    Mix well to make a paste and stir-fry for 1 min. Then add the rest of the coconut milk. 

    Bring to a gentle boil and then add the green beans.

  4. Final touches!

    Sprinkle in the BALINESE GARNISH and let the curry simmer for 3 mins.

    Meanwhile heat up your parathas naan breads according to pack instructions. 

    Add the baby corn and the cooked potatoes (if having) and let the curry cook for 2 mins then turn off the heat. 

    Top the curry with the chopped cashew nuts (if having) and serve with the parathas/naan breads
