Feel free to add some extra chopped chillies on top for aesthetics and more spiciness, if desired!

We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic Bang Bang Chicken. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Bang Bang Paste pot, a Garlic & Coconut Paste pot and a Chilli Garnish pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Bang Bang Chicken in just 20 minutes.

Your shopping list for 2 servings:

  • 2 chicken fillets
  • 2 peppers (1 red, 1 green)
  • 2Tbsp crunchy peanut butter
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 150g dried medium noodles (or rice noodles for GF)
  • 1 lime
  • 2 spring onions (optional)
  • 1Tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Our 20 minute recipe

  1. Fry the chicken

    Heat a little oil in a wide frying pan and fry the chicken for 2 mins.

    Stir in the BANG BANG PASTE, then add the peppers and fry for 2 more mins.

    Mix in the coconut milk and bring it to a gentle boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer. 

  2. Develop the flavours

    Add the GARLIC & COCONUT PASTE and peanut butter and mix well.

    Add the spring onions (if using) and cook for 2 mins, or until the chicken is done, then turn off the heat. 

  3. Cook the noodles

    Boil the noodles as per pack instructions.

    Collect a 2 tbsp of water from the noodle pan with a mug, then drain and rinse them under cold water.

    Stir the CHILLI GARNISH into the chicken pan, then add the noodles and 1-2 tbsps (or more, if necessary to loosen the sauce) of your reserved noodle water and toss to coat them. (Tongs are helpful here.) 

  4. Serve! 

    Serve the noodles with squeeze of a lime and some sesame seeds sprinkled over (if using).
