Our 20 minute recipe

  • 1.

    Heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Toss the wedges with the Sweet Potato Seasoning and 1-2 tbsps oil, then spread out on a baking sheet and cook for 20-25 mins, flipping halfway.

  • 2.

    Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl with the juice of a lemon. Sprinkle the Smoked Chilli Blend over the chicken. Add the Tandoori Paste and the yoghurt to the bowl and mix really well.

  • 3.

    If you want to grill the chicken, bring the grill up to high heat and grill the chicken for 7-10 mins on each side. Or, place the chicken on another baking tray and cook in the oven for 15-20 mins. Meanwhile, dress your salad.

  • 4.

    Put some sliced onions and tomatoes in with your salad leaves if you like and dress with a little olive oil, salt and pepper.

  • 5.

    When the chicken and wedges are cooked, serve with your salad and a dollop of yoghurt on the side, if you have some leftover.

Lovely flavour and made the chicken very tender. The overall dish however seemed somewhat dry as there wasn’t any sauce left from the paste after being cooked over the chIcken and the seasoned wedges just made it al the more drier on texture. The flavours however were superb.
