We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic BBQ Tandoori Chicken with Sweet Potato Wedges. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Smoked Chilli Blend pot, a Tandoori Paste pot and a Sweet Potato Seasoning pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious BBQ Tandoori Chicken with Sweet Potato Wedges in just 25 minutes.

How Our Recipes Kits Work

We provide flavour ingredients:

  • Smoked Chilli Blend
  • Tandoori Paste
  • Sweet Potato Seasoning

Your shopping list:

chicken thigh fillets (or 2-3 breast fillets)
Natural yoghurt
medium sweet potatoes
of salad
salad items (onion/cucumber/tomato)(optional)

Our 25 minute recipe

  • 1.

    Heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Toss the potato wedges with the Sweet Potato Seasoning and some oil on a baking tray, then cook in the oven for 20-25 mins, checking and flipping them halfway.

  • 2.

    Put the chicken pieces in a large bowl with the Smoked Chilli Blend and toss to coat. Add the Tandoori Paste, lemon juice and the yoghurt to the bowl and mix well.

  • 3.

    Arrange the chicken on another baking tray and cook in the oven for 15-20 mins. Meanwhile prepare your side salad with optional extras.

  • 4.

    Serve the chicken with the wedges and salad with some cooling yoghurt for dipping, if you have extra.

This meal would have been 10x better if I remembered to marinade the chicken overnight.... so only had the time to let it marinade for over an hour, the chicken still came out juicy and tasty, but the flavours not as strong and vibrant, so definitely leave to marinade as long as possible for a stronger flavour. I served this dish as a 'Naanbab', using a fresh warm naan bread, like a kebab pitta bread, I crammed plenty of the salad leaves, diced cucumber, onions and tomato into it, with a layer of the sliced up BBQ Tandoori Chicken. I also added freshly chopped mint and a squeeze of the lemon juice to the yogurt to make a homemade fresh and zesty sauce to top the chicken!!! I do love sweet potato in any shape of form, but I feel the seasoning for the wedges needs a bit more of a stronger flavour to it, was very little subtle. But overall it was a very fresh and filling 1st meal from my trial box, and look forward to trying the next!!!
