We’ve managed to capture the essence of this mouth-wateringly delicious classic in our pots of flavour. No overnight-marination required, just fire up the grill, pop open a refreshing drink and get ready for a taste of an Indian summer.

We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic BBQ Tandoori Paneer. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Smoked Chilli Blend pot, a Tandoori Paste pot and a Sweet Potato Seasoning pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious BBQ Tandoori Paneer in just 20 minutes.

  • 220 paneer cheese
  • 70g natural yoghurt
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1small bag of salad
  • 2 peppers of any colour
  • any other salad items (optional)

Our 20 minute recipe

  1. Prep the wedges 

    Preheat the oven to 220C/fan 200C/gas 7. 

    Toss the sweet potato wedges in 1 tbsp of olive oil and then sprinkle over the SWEET POTATO SEASONING. Arrange on a baking tray and put in the oven to cook for 20 mins.

  2. Marinate the veg 

    Mix the SMOKED CHILLI BLEND with the TANDOORI PASTE in a large mixing bowl. 

    Add the yoghurt and the juice of half a lemon and stir well. Add the paneer cubes and peppers and mix to coat.

  3. Grill the skewers 

    Feed the paneer and pepper onto skewers alternating them.
    If you want to grill the skewers, bring the grill up to high heat and grill them on either side for 6-8 mins. 

    Alternatively, place the paneer on a baking tray and cook in the oven for 15 mins. Keeping an eye on them close to the end.

  4. Meanwhile make the salad

    Meanwhile dress the salad with a little olive oil, salt and pepper, adding in any other salad items (if using). 

  5. Serve!

    When the paneer skewers and wedges are cooked to your liking serve with the salad on the side and a lemon wedge. Feel free to use any extra yoghurt as a dipping sauce.

We really liked the paneer in this. A very tasty dish, not dry and there was plenty of marinade left over that you could easily upscale. We’ll be ordering this again as something different for the next family BBQ.

Left the paneer and vegetables to marinade whilst the oven was heating up. Cooked in oven for 15 mins and under the grill for 3 mins, not dry at all.
