Cook our delicious Bibimbap in just Minutes
We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic Bibimbap. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Gochujang Paste pot, a Soy & Red Miso Sauce pot and a Miso Stock pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Bibimbap in just 20 minutes.

Our 20 minute recipe
To make the Bibimbap sauce mix the Gochujang Paste with 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp water, 1 tbsp sesame seeds, 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp vinegar. Set aside till needed.
To make your rice pour 300ml of boiling water into a lidded saucepan followed by the Miso Stock. Stir in the paste and then add the rice. Mix gently and bring to the boil. Then turn down to a low heat, cover with a lid and cook for 15 mins.
Heat 2 tbsps of olive oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add the Soy & Red Miso Sauce and the beef mince and stir-fry for 3-5 mins until the mince is cooked. Tip into a bowl and keep warm.
In the same pan stir-fry the carrots, spinach, beansprouts and any other vegetables (if using) for 3-4 mins. Cook them separately for presentation if you like, or all together! Then place in a warm bowl ready to be served. In the same pan, fry the 2 eggs, keeping the yolks runny.
Finally, divide the rice into 2 large bowls or plates and add the meat, assorted vegetables, egg and the Bibimbap sauce on top of the rice. Mix all the ingredients well in the bowl and get stuck in!

It is quite a lot of effort compared with other Simpy Cook recipes. It really stood out to me (having used SImply Cook for over 6 months) as requiring more effort, although it is great for using up leftovers and it tastes great as well.

I chopped chicken breast into small pieces instead of using beef mince. I also substituted all of the indIvidual veg for a packet of fresh store bought stir fry veg mix. Was lovely!

Wouldn't recommend, the beef ended up really dry and didn't feel like anything went with eachother. Compared to the other recipes this doesn't compare

Unusual sort of dish, but I liked it. I didn't bother with doing all the veg separately, just chucked everything in together and didn't get round to cooking an egg for the top either, but the result was very more-ish.

A very unusual dish & one I’d never normally try. It was tasty & strangely the ingredients do work well together. It wasn’t as filling as the other dishes, so might be better as a lunch. Glad I tried it though!
