How Our Recipes Kits Work
We provide flavour ingredients:
- Gochujang Paste
- Miso Stock
- Soy & Red Miso Sauce
Your shopping list:
- beef mince
- sesame seeds
- sesame oil
- of beansprouts(optional)
- any other vegetables of your choice(optional)
Our 20 minute recipe
Cook the rice
Turn the oven onto a low heat to keep food warm (around 60C).
Mix the GOCHUJANG PASTE with the sesame oil, sesame seeds, sugar, vinegar and 1 tbsp of water in a glass, then set aside.
Pour 300ml of boiling water into a lidded non-stick pan, stir in the MISO STOCK and then add the rice. Bring it back to the boil, then turn down the heat to low, cover with a lid and cook for 10-12 mins.
Meanwhile, fry the mince
Heat a little oil in a wok or pan over high heat and add the beef mince and the SOY & RED MISO SAUCE.
Stir fry for 5 mins to cook the mince and let it brown slightly, then tip it into a bowl and keep warm.
Fry the veg
In the same pan stir fry the carrots, spinach, beansprouts and any other vegetables (if using) for 3-4 mins. Cook them each in turn so you can present them separately in the bowls if you like, or all together. When cooked, put aside in a bowl and keep warm.
In the same pan, fry the 2 eggs, keeping the yolks soft.
Serve the rice in bowls then arrange the beef, veg and a fried egg on top, with a drizzle of the sauce on top.

I was very reluctant to make this as I thought the combo was a bit odd, however it was really tasty, I decided to cook all the veg and bean sprouts together and mixed the rested minced beef in! Very nice and good to try different things.

Finally got around to making this after box was rattling around the drawer for a few months and really pleasantly surprised . Took a little extra time to cook the veg ( I added extra mushroom and peppers ) separately , but so worth it . Would try this again with pork mince. I also added some of the dressing to spinach as it was wilting

Tasty. But really wish the sauces didn't have so much sugar and Syrup in them.. there is no need.

I forgot to mix it and ate raw egg, still good though

This would be nothing without the Gochujang sauce that you drizzle over at the end. Also your egg must have a runny yolk, I poached mine. These two factors make this stir-fry! Worth trying.
Hayley - Nov 09, 2018
Nice, found mince a little bland but once the sauce was put on at the end, it spruced it up
Seun - Nov 07, 2018
Amazing! It tasted sooo good. Highly recommended

Very nice, mince needed a little more flavour, but once you drizzle the sauce over it at the end, it spruces it up.

Izabela - Oct 16, 2018
Love this! Ordered a few times, now just fry all veg together as quicker.
Nick - Oct 14, 2018
One of our favourite dishes, we order regularly. Comfort in a bowl. Find it a bit faffy to cook, but have started to cook all the veggies together and that works fine.
Joanna - Oct 14, 2018

Not enough flavour for us - tho this might be due to me using too much mince.
Fiona - Oct 02, 2018
Sorry, not for me...I'm sure that anyone that likes Bibimbap will love it but it was my first time of trying, and I didn't.
Dean - Sep 26, 2018
Interesting. Didn’t think was as tasty as some but quite nice to be able to mix it up with different veg. Definitely recommend combining stir fry as better flavour when mixed

Hireslly nice... just a slightly strange combination for me!
Steve - Sep 21, 2018
Worst yet Sort out the heat scale. The sauce is FAR too hot. Whole thing a let down.
