We've taken inspiration from the French Suprême sauce and the much loved Chicken Supreme dish and have created our own version with sauteed mushrooms, mustard and a touch of honey. It's served with a flavourful garlic and herb buttery mash. Simple comfort food at its best.

We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic Creamy Honey Mustard Chicken. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a White Wine Reduction pot, a Supreme Sauce Stock pot and a Herb Mash Mix pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Creamy Honey Mustard Chicken in just 25 minutes.

button mushrooms
creme fraiche
cornflour (cupboard)

Our 25 minute recipe

  • 1.

    Cook the chicken

    Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the chicken until golden, then remove and keep aside.

    Boil the potatoes until tender. Meanwhile, start Step 2.

    (When they're done, drain and return them to their pan. Cover with a lid and keep aside.)

  • 2.

    Start the sauce

    Put a full kettle on to boil. Then in the same pan, fry the onion in a little oil for 3 mins.

    Turn the heat up and add the mushrooms. Fry for 2 mins then stir in the WHITE WINE REDUCTION. 

    Add the SUPREME SAUCE STOCK with 300ml boiling water. Mix well and cook for 5 mins.

    Mix 1 tsp cornflour with 2 tsps water in a cup, then add to the pan. Bring to the boil, then simmer for 2 mins.

  • 3.

    Return the chicken

    Stir in the crème fraîche then return the chicken (and juices) to the pan and simmer until cooked through, and then stir in 2 tsp of honey.

  • 4.

    Mash the potatoes

    Boil the broccoli for 3 mins (if having).

    Mash the potatoes with a large knob of butter, then stir the HERB MASH MIX through it.

  • 5.


    Serve the chicken and sauce over mash with broccoli on the side. Sprinkle with chopped parsley (optional).

Made this last night but used normal mushrooms instead of button mushrooms. It was nice and everyone enjoyed it, especially the mash, but I think it would have been better with button mushrooms as suggested on the recipe card. Would you make it again.?
