We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic Firecracker Noodles. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Five Spice Seasoning pot, a Tamari & Miso Sauce pot and a Firecracker Hot Sauce pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Firecracker Noodles in just 20 minutes.

  • 200g firm tofu
  • 2 medium egg noodle nests
  • 175g pack baby corn & mangetout
  • 4 spring onions
  • sesame oil (optional)

Our 20 minute recipe

  1. Fry the tofu

    Toss the tofu with a little oil, the Firecracker Seasoning and a pinch of salt in a bowl until evenly coated.

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick frying pan or wok over medium-high heat, and fry the tofu (in batches) for 3-4 mins, or until golden. Remove from the pan.




  2. Cook the veg & noodles

    Add 1 tbsp oil to the pan and then fry the baby corn, mangetout and the white parts of the spring onions for 2-3 mins stirring occasionally, to allow the veg to char slightly.

    Meanwhile, boil the noodles for 3 mins, scooping up half a mug's worth of noodle water just before draining.

  3. Put it all together

    Add the Tamari & Miso Sauce to the veg with a small splash of your noodle water and stir well.

    Add the cooked noodles to the pan and mix them into the veg.

    Next add the Firecracker Hot Sauce and stir fry for 1 min.

    Return the tofu to the pan along with the green parts of spring onion and mix well.

  4. Serve!

    Serve the noodles with a little bit of sesame oil drizzled on top (optional).

Glad I read the tip about using half the firecracker hot sauce.. even when only using half it is a spicy but very tasty dish. I cooked using Tofu instead of chicken and highly recommend it.

Really tasty. Too spicy if you add all of the firecracker sauce and my OH likes spicy food but a tad too spicy for him. Definitely one to try again with less sauce. Recommended.
