How Our Recipes Kits Work
We provide flavour ingredients:
- Chicken Stock
- Cajun Seasoning
- Hot Pepper Sauce
Your shopping list:
- beef meatballs (approx 350g)
- tin chopped tomatoes
- green pepper (or red or yellow)
Our 20 minute recipe
Cook the rice
Boil 300ml water in a non-stick lidded saucepan then add the CHICKEN STOCK and mix well. Add the rice, bring it back to the boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for 10-12 mins.
Pan-fry the meatballs
Heat a little oil in a pan over medium-high heat, then fry the onion for 2 mins.
Add the meatballs, sprinkle the CAJUN SEASONING over them and fry until they've browned on all sides. (Drizzle a little more oil over them if looking dry).
Make the sauce
Add the pepper and fry for 2 mins.
Stir in the chopped tomatoes, and the HOT PEPPER SAUCE, then cook over a medium heat for 8-10 mins. If you'd prefer it a bit saucier, mix 50ml water into the sauce.
Taste the sauce and add 1 tsp of sugar, if desired.
Serve the rice with the meatballs and sauce on top.

I made my own meatballs from lean mince meat, breadcrumbs and a splash of milk to stick the meat together. Also when making your own meatballs, you can mix the spices all the way through the meatballs instead of just the outside ???????? Really tasty dish have ordered again we couldn't get enough! Had to add a few chilli's to up the heat and had them with spaghetti instead of rice ???????? unreal. Keep up the good work guys ????

Not our favourite. Maybe we expected more from the flavours, it just didn’t work... maybe we just prefer Italian meatballs made our own way
