We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic Hot Cajun Meatballs. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Chicken Stock pot, a Cajun Seasoning pot and a Hot Pepper Sauce pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Hot Cajun Meatballs in just 20 minutes.

Your shopping list for 2 servings:

  • 12 beef meatballs (approx 350g)
  • 200g tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper (or red or yellow)
  • 150g rice
  • 1tsp sugar

Our 20 minute recipe

  1. Cook the rice

    Boil 300ml water in a non-stick lidded saucepan then add the CHICKEN STOCK and mix well. Add the rice, bring it back to the boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for 10-12 mins.

  2. Pan-fry the meatballs

    Heat a little oil in a pan over medium-high heat, then fry the onion for 2 mins.

    Add the meatballs, sprinkle the CAJUN SEASONING over them and fry until they've browned on all sides. (Drizzle a little more oil over them if looking dry).

  3. Make the sauce

    Add the pepper and fry for 2 mins.

    Stir in the chopped tomatoes, and the HOT PEPPER SAUCE, then cook over a medium heat for 8-10 mins. If you'd prefer it a bit saucier, mix 50ml water into the sauce.

    Taste the sauce and add 1 tsp of sugar, if desired.

  4. Serve!

    Serve the rice with the meatballs and sauce on top.
