Our latest dish is a delicate curry featuring the classic spices grown in Kerala - mustard seeds, turmeric and warm spices like cinnamon and clove. Kerala’s rich trading heritage via its coconut tree-line coast means that fusion and influences from other cultures can often be seen in their modern day dishes, which is why you'll see courgette in our version. To be truly authentic, serve your curry and rice on a banana leaf!

Keralan Coconut Curry Reviews

BASED ON reviews

Swapped courgettes for quorn chicken pieces. Found that there wasn’t much liquid unlike the picture. The flavours were great though and a really enjoyable meal.

First time with this one, and loved the flavours. Versatile too...I added some old cauliflower and baby corns lurking in the fridge, together with a small amount of chorizo which I fried and added to the veg curry late in the process. Yum!

This was very nice - creamy and tasty. I added chicken to give it some depth. I would buy this again certainly

Alice - Dec 09, 2019

Very tasty. I always bulk up on veg and I added quorn pieces. Had enough leftover for a 3rd portion the next day.

Mandeep - Dec 09, 2019

If I cooked it again I would add prawns. It was an ok curry for midweek but not the best out of the range.

Sarah - Dec 07, 2019

It was easy to cook but I was not that keen on it.

Seem to recall too spicy

Martin - Jun 22, 2019

I used cauliflower chickpeas and other veggies. Lush

sandra - Jun 22, 2019

Would like this again

Rosie - Jun 17, 2019

Yummy, but slightly too garlicky for my taste. I would use a bit less of the garlic paste next time

Shaun - Jun 11, 2019

Loved this!

Wendy - May 25, 2019

My family are vegetarian and although registered as such I received the recipe card for the prawn version of this dish. I substituted quorn pieces for the prawns and found the ingredients could easily be doubled without losing any taste. Substituted grilled pepper for courgettes.

Lucy - May 15, 2019

One of our favourites would order again

Very tasty. Slightly spicy, but not too much. I made it with quorn and peas. We'll definitely have this one again.

Jessica - Jan 11, 2019

Really tasty and just spicy enough

Brian - Nov 28, 2018

Used peas, beans and mixed peppers instead of quorn chicken pieces.

Jonathan - Mar 07, 2018

Lovely with a great deal of taste.

Kyley - Feb 23, 2018

Nice but some dishes should come with spice ratings as I found that quite hot and if I knew I wouldn't have put all the seasoning in or would have bought some yoghurt!

Katie - Feb 06, 2018

One of the best meals with delicious flavours

Katie - Jan 19, 2018
