Our 15 minute recipe

  1. Make some rice

Cook the rice according to packet instructions.

  2. Cook the chops

Marinate the lamb chops in the MISO SAUCE and set aside.

Bring the grill up to high heat.

Put the lamb chops on a baking tray and cook under the grill for 3-4 mins on either side.  (If you prefer to pan-fry them, heat a pan with a little oil over medium-high heat and cook the chops for  3 mins on each side, for medium-rare).

  3. Prep your garnishes

While the lamb chops are resting for a couple of mins, arrange the spring onions, cucumber, lettuce leaves and ginger on your plate.

  4. Serve!

Serve the rice with HOI SIN SAUCE drizzled over it and put the chops alongside. Scatter 1 tbsp of sesame seeds over everything and spoon some spicy SRIRACHA SAUCE on the side.

This was nice, but miso, hoi sin and sriracha are all things you can easily buy at the supermarket, so it didn’t feel as special as a lot of the SimplyCook recipes.

Not Korean! Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese flavour pots. Pan Asian as best. It was tasty but misleading.

Liked this a lot but then I was starving! The Sriracha sauce on the side was way too hot for me though!

Enya - 16th September 2020

Made a quick egg fried rice by throwing in some scrambled egg and soy sauce in with the rice instead of having it plain

The only real thing this recipe gives you is the marinade. Whilst it was super tasty I can buy hoisin and siracha so they weren't anything special. Maybe swap the hoisin for something you actually cook the rice in.
