We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic Malaysian Laksa. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Chicken Stock pot, a Laksa Paste pot and a Malay Garnish pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Malaysian Laksa in just 20 minutes.

How Our Recipes Kits Work

Your shopping list for 4 servings:

  • 400ml tin coconut milk
  • 200g asparagus spears
  • 5 chicken thigh fillets
  • 300g fresh vermicelli (thin) rice noodles (or 200g dried rice noodles)
  • 350g butternut squash
  • Handful of coriander (optional)
  • 1 lime (optional)

Our 20 minute recipe

  1. Fry the chicken

    Heat a little oil in a large pot over medium heat and gently fry the butternut squash for 2 mins.

    Add the LAKSA PASTE and the chicken. Mix well and stir fry for 3 mins.

  2. Add the coconut milk

    Boil 350ml water in a kettle and then pour it into the pot.

    Add the CHICKEN STOCK and mix well.

    Then add the coconut milk, stir well and bring it to the boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 7-8 mins. 

  3. Add the noodles

    Add the rice noodles, asparagus spears and MALAY GARNISH to the laksa and simmer for 3 more mins or until the asparagus is tender. 

  4. Serve!

    Ladle your laksa into deep bowls and sprinkle with coriander (if using) and a squeeze of lime.
