Our 20 minute recipe

  1. Make the rice

Bring 300ml of water to the boil in a lidded saucepan then stir in the BEEF STOCK.

Add the rice, bring it back to the boil, turn the heat down to low, cover with a lid, and cook for 10-12 mins.

  2. Fry the mince

Heat a little oil in a large pan over high heat, then add the onion and red pepper and fry for 3-4 mins.

Add the SMOKY CHILLI BLEND and cook for 1 min.

Add the beef mince and cook for 3-4 mins, or until the beef has browned nicely.

  3. Add the beans and chipotle paste

Add the baked beans and the CHIPOTLE PASTE and stir well. Then reduce the heat to medium and let it cook for 10 mins.

  4. Serve

Serve the chilli over the rice with some soured cream on the side.

Used turkey mince instead. I like the idea of using baked beans instead of red kidney beans. Delicious!

If you are scared of flavours it’s fine unfortunately this one lacks significantly of any flavours. Needs a bit of acidity and spices (cumin would be great)... will not get again
