Our 20 minute recipe

  1. Make the rice

Bring 500ml of water to the boil in a lidded saucepan then stir in the BEEF STOCK.

Add the rice, bring it back to the boil, turn the heat down to low, cover with a lid, and cook for 10-12 mins.

  2. Fry the mince

Heat a little oil in a large pan over high heat, then add the onion and fry for 3-4 mins.

Add red peppers and fry for 2 mins.

Add the SMOKY CHILLI BLEND and cook for 1 min.

Add the beef mince and cook for 5 mins, or until the beef has browned nicely.

  3. Add the beans and chipotle paste

Add the baked beans and the CHIPOTLE PASTE and stir well. Then reduce the heat to medium and let it cook for 10 mins.

  4. Serve!

Serve the chilli over the rice with some soured cream on the side.

One dish that we make from scratch ourselves so perhaps we are used to our own flavours for this one.

Tasty enough but there was a mistake with the stock pots so didn’t get the full experience unfortunately

Very bland and not much chilli to it. I had to add more chilli myself to make it taste of something!!

We liked this dish and next time would have tacos with them.. Very tasty dish, I'm not a lover of kidney beans so enjoyed having baked beans with this. The dish to me is a little sweet with a mild kick. Would definetly have this again.
