The silky texture of the paneer makes for an interesting, creamy foil for the spicy spinach curry sauce.   • 1 onion
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 200g paneer cheese
  • 250g spinach
  • 100ml single cream
  • chapati bread (optional)
  • plain yoghurt (optional)

Our 20 minute recipe

  1. Fry the paneer

    Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large non-stick pan over high heat. When hot, fry the paneer, turning the cubes to brown each side (~ 5 mins). Then remove from the pan and keep aside.

  2. Start the sauce

    Heat a little oil in the same pan over medium-high heat and fry the onion for 3 mins.

    Add the GARLIC PASTE and stir quickly. 

    Add the tomatoes and the KORMA PASTE and turn up the heat to help the tomatoes break down. 

    Reduce the heat to a simmer then stir in the cream, letting it cook for 5 mins.

  3. Add the spinach

    Add the spinach leaves and stir until the leaves have fully wilted into the curry.

    Return the paneer to the pan and add half the NIGELLA SEED BLEND. Let it simmer for 3 mins.

  4. Serve!

    Serve the curry and sprinkle the rest of the NIGELLA SEED BLEND on top. Serve the yoghurt and chapati bread on the side (if using).
