We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Chilli Garlic Paste pot, a Thai Seasoning pot and a Pad Kra Prao Sauce pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Thai Basil Pork in just 20 minutes.

Your shopping list for 2 servings:

  • 250g pack microwave rice
  • 400g pork mince
  • 2 peppers (1 red, 1 yellow)
  • 1pack basil (30g)
  • 1 lime

Our 20 minute recipe

  1. Fry the pork mince

    Heat a little oil in a wok over medium heat and fry the CHILLI GARLIC PASTE for 10 secs.

    Turn the heat up a little and add the pork, breaking up the mince and frying until the mince has browned (around 8 mins). 

  2. Add the Thai flavours

    Add the peppers, the THAI SEASONING and 1-2 tsps of sugar and stir fry for 3 more mins.

    Add the PAD KRA PRAO SAUCE and 100ml water to make a light broth. Stir well and reduce the heat to low and let it cook for a few more mins.

    Taste it, and add 1 tsp sugar if you'd like it sweeter. 

  3. Wilt the basil

    Heat the rice according to pack instructions

    Turn off the heat and add the basil to the wok. Stir it in so that it wilts gently. 

  4. Serve!

    Serve the rice with the Thai basil pork on the side, with a squeeze of lime over each plate.
