Our 20 minute recipe

  1. Fry the pork mince

Cook the rice according to pack instructions, and keep warm.

Heat a little oil in a wok over medium heat and fry the Chilli Garlic Paste for 10 secs.

Turn the heat up a little and add the pork, breaking up the mince and frying until the mince has browned (around 8 mins).

  2. Add the Thai flavours

Add the peppers, the Thai Seasoning and 2 tsps of sugar and fry for 3 more mins.

Add the Pad Kra Prao Sauce and 150ml water to make a light broth. Stir well and reduce the heat to low and let it cook for a few more mins.

  3. Wilt the basil

Taste it, and add 1 tsp sugar if you'd like it sweeter.

Turn the heat down to low and add the basil to the wok. Stir it in so that it wilts gently.

  4. Serve!

Serve the pork over rice with a squeeze of lime.

Loved this! My 1st SimplyCook recipe. I didn’t add the sugar and added lots more veg (peppers, baby corn, mange tout and green beans) and it was delicious

Disappointing. Maybe Thai basil instead of basil? Lime killed any flavour there might have been.

Every other simply cook dish I've had is bursting with flavour but this was so tasteless.

I think cooked with beef or pork strips it would better. Not a fan of the mince.
