Cook our delicious Vietnamese Pork in just Minutes

We’ve sourced and blended all of the unique flavour ingredients to make our authentic Vietnamese Pork. We bring these all together in a recipe kit, which consists of 3 flavour pots; a Ca Kho To Fish Paste pot, a Sriracha Sauce pot and a Vietnamese Beef Stock pot. Simply follow our recipe, adding a few items from your fridge, to cook this delicious Vietnamese Pork in just 20 minutes.

How Our Recipes Kits Work

We provide flavour ingredients:

  • Ca Kho To Fish Paste
  • Sriracha Sauce
  • Vietnamese Beef Stock

Your shopping list:

pork tenderloin/fillet
brown sugar
spring onions
jasmine rice
Pak Choi(optional)
lime (optional)

Our 20 minute recipe

  • 1.

    Cook the rice

Bring 500ml water to the boil in a lidded pot, stir in the Vietnamese Beef Stock and then add the rice. Cover and simmer on a low heat for 12-15 mins. Then remove from the heat and keep covered.

  • 2.

    Meanwhile, fry the pork

Heat a little oil in a wok or pan over medium-high heat and fry the pork briefly to brown it on both sides. Remove and set aside. Turn the heat down and add a little more oil and then fry the shallots for 2-3 mins to soften them.

  • 3.

    Make the sauce

Sprinkle in the sugar and leave it for 2 mins so that it starts to gently melt and bubble.

Stir the shallots and the sugar together and add the Thit Kho Paste with 30ml of water to the pan. Turn the heat up to medium and stir for 2 mins so that the sauce starts to thicken very slightly.

  • 4.

    Bring the pork back

Return the pork to the pan and cook for 2 more mins so that the sauce creates a glaze on the pork.

If you're adding pak choi to the pork, add it to the pan and cook for 2 mins.

Add the Chilli Garlic Sauce and spring onions to the pork and mix well.

  • 5.

Serve the pork on top of the rice with a squeeze of lime over the pork (if using).

Gillian - Oct 30, 2019

Lovely, really flavoursome

Lee - Oct 28, 2019

Amazing dish! Says “mild” but received a “chilli and garlic” pot instead of what was listed and that would’ve made it way too spicy so luckily only added half of it and it tasted great! Personal preference I guess...

colin - Oct 28, 2019

Second time for these ingredients . I did pork last time and very good. This time I decided to try with chicken and although everyone liked the dish we all agreed the pork was better.

Karen - Oct 28, 2019

Love this one and nice and different.

Sally - Oct 26, 2019

Loved it!

Vicki - Oct 24, 2019

Was delicious! Really enjoyed it. Would have again

Thomas - Oct 24, 2019

The meal itself was delicious however the instructions on the recipe card were not the best. It doesn't tell you to remove the pork before adding the shallots to the pan for example

Leanne - Oct 23, 2019

Loved this, didnt put as much sugar as seen reviews it as sweet. Added just a little extra sweet chilli sauce to, to give a bit of heat

Kerry - Oct 20, 2019

I only gave it three stars because it says it's mild but it's actully too spicey (for me and my son) also the pot names on here are NOT the same as the ones in the pack so it's really confusing. Overall my partner would eat it again as he liked ut but I didn't
